Mason shows off its diverse flavors at "Taste of Mason" on February 15 | Arts & Culture

MASON, OH (FOX19) The Mason City Schools Diversity Council’s fifth annual Taste of Mason event will feature local restaurants' finest global offerings on the evening of Wednesday, February 15 from 5-8 p.m. at Mason High School, 6100 Mason -Montgomery Rd.

The participating restaurants include 5 with Europeans cuisines, 4 with Asian, and one each from Ethiopia and Mexico:

• Aponte’s - Italian
• Banana Leaf Modern Thai - Thai
• Bd’s Mongolian Grill - Chinese
• Brazenhead Irish Pub - Irish
• Café Bella - Ethiopian
• Cazadores Mexican - Mexican
• Chan’s Asian Wok - Chinese
• Mason Grill - Greek
• Oleg's German Family Restaurant
• Rotbart’s Deli - Russian
• Soho Japanese Bistro - Japanese

Besides food, check out entertainment with a global flair featuring dancing, art, music from around the globe, and more. Kids can learn about international currency by "purchasing" Mason Comet Store items with their cash, and get their passports stamped at each continent as they take a virtual trip around the globe, right in Mason.
