Intelligrated breaks ground Monday in Mason | Business
MASON, OH (FOX19) - Ground will be broken Monday in Mason for the ceremonial start of construction on a new office building at the headquarters of Intelligrated, a materials handling company in Mason.
The expansion was announced in November when Governor John Kasich came to the site. On Monday the guests will include Chris Cole, CEO, Intelligrated; Dave Neyer, Al Neyer, Inc.; Mayor David Nichols, Mason, Ohio. Intelligrated's new 108,000-square-foot office building will expand the existing complex and allow for growth of R&D, engineering and customer service staff. The building will be located alongside the existing Mason, Ohio Intelligrated headquarters.
The expansion is made possible by a financial incentive package from the state of Ohio and the city of Mason to support local job growth. The new building will house administrative offices and allow for an expansion of R&D staff, systems and customer service engineers on the existing campus.
"Monday's groundbreaking is a milestone in Intelligrated's ongoing growth as one of the most technologically-advanced players in the material handling industry. The new building will help us continue to expand our footprint, grow our technical staff and create advanced productivity solutions," says Chris Cole, CEO. "We appreciate the incentives from the state of Ohio and the city of Mason which help support our expansion."
