Inaugural Color Me Pink 5k to be held at Kings Island | Events

MASON, OH (FOX19) - Kings Island is starting a new tradition that will raise awareness and money in the fight against breast cancer.

The inaugural Color Me Pink 5k Walk/Run takes place during Kings Island's opening day on Saturday, April 27.

The Color Me Pink 5k features a 3.1-mile course around the park which offers unique and behind-the-scenes views of many popular attractions including the Diamondback roller coaster and the K.I. & Miami Valley Railroad.  Along the course are four color shoots. Participants will be doused in color as they make their way through these areas of the course.

Registration for the Color Me Pink 5k which includes Opening Day admission to Kings Island is $54.99 per person ages 11 and up and $24.99 for ages 3-10.

Registration for Kings Island 2013 season passholders is $34.99 per person for ages 11 and up and $4.99 for ages 3-10. An early-bird special with a discount of up to 45 percent off the registration price is available through Friday, February 22.
