Christmas Ranch light display gives back to local charities

MORROW, OH (FOX19) - The Christmas Ranch in Morrow has hit an all-time high with this year’s annual Christmas light display, using more than 500,000 LED lights. The Fuchs have been creating holiday light displays for 23 years, first at their own home, and eventually at the Morrow property, where they opened The Christmas Ranch in 2008.

This walk-through light display, called “The Gift of Lights,” features The Animated Forest, Tinseltown Trains, holiday music and more. The many gift shops offer fun trinkets like light-up reindeer glasses as well as traditional holiday decorations like glass ornaments and tree toppers. Families can also meet Santa Claus, and have a photo taken. Owner Mike Fuchs says Santa is a highlight for many adults, as well as their children.

“I’ve had parents tell me he’s the most believable Santa Claus they’ve ever seen,” said Fuchs. “He’ll turn even the most skeptical into believers.”
