Exercise certification programs coming to Mason Community Center | Health

Mason Community Center has partnered with national organizations such as Les Mills, Powder Blue Productions, and Yoga Fit to bring group exercise certification programs to Warren County. This fall, two certification classes will be offered. A yoga certification class will be available in the spring.

Les Mills will offer a BODYPUMP™ certification at Mason Community Center on October 20-21. BODYPUMP is a barbell class that is currently featured at Mason Community Center. To find a BODYPUMP class at the center to try it out, visit www.imaginemason.org and click on the Community Center tab to find the drop-in class schedule. To become a certified BODYPUMP instructor, enroll for the training at www.lesmills.com/midwest/store/events-calendar.aspx. Register by October 3.

Powder Blue Productions will offer a Hip Hop Hustle certification on November 5. Hip Hop Hustle is a dance format that will be featured at Mason Community Center in 2013. Sign up for the instructor training at http://www.turbokick.com/index.php?content=calendar&state=OH. Register at least two weeks before to get the early bird rate.

Yoga Fit will offer a Yoga Level 1 certification on March 2-3, 2013. Yoga is a mind/body format that is featured at Mason Community Center. Visit https://webportal.orderwave.com/yogafit/default?a=viewTrainingDetail&i=2338 to register.

Please note that completion of the certification does not guarantee employment with the City of Mason. Mason Community Center is pleased to offer these training opportunities to everyone, regardless of residency and place of employment. Mason Community Center membership is not required.
