MASON, OH (FOX19) – Local supporters of President Barack Obama gathered Tuesday night for the grand opening of a new Organizing for America-Ohio (OFA) office in Mason, with former Hamilton County Commissioner David Pepper as the guest speaker.
This is the fourth OFA office in the Tri-state, with locations already in place in Cincinnati, Northern Hamilton County, and Middletown, along with other Ohio field offices in Warren, Defiance, Mentor, Lima, Bowling Green, Toledo, Beavercreek, Youngstown, New Philadelphia, Athens, Parma, Columbus, Dayton, Shaker Heights and Chillicothe.
OFA says they have been actively engaging supporters in communities across Ohio since 2009. Since the launch of the President’s re-election campaign, volunteers have been organizing in their communities with grassroots planning sessions, house parties, voter registration drives, phone banks and canvasses.
The Mason office is at 108 W. Main Street.
