Cincinnati Country Day kids visit Ohio Statehouse | Politics

COLUMBUS (FOX19)— Students from the Cincinnati Country Day School received a first-hand view of the Ohio Senate Wednesday while visiting the Ohio Statehouse.  Just moments before Senate session came to order, State Senator Shannon Jones (R – Springboro) welcomed the fourth graders into the chamber.

After asking their state senator a number of questions about government and the General Assembly, the group was provided with a Statehouse tour.

Senator Shannon Jones represents Ohio’s 7th Senate District, which includes Warren County and a neighboring portion of Hamilton County.  She currently serves as the Senate Majority Whip.

Cincinnati Country Day is located on Given Road in Indian Hill.
