LEBANON, OH (FOX19) - The Golden Lamb in Lebanon is being honored by AAA as one of the favorite historic restaurants in the nation. 

AAA inspectors chose 40 establishments with notable historic origins, patrons and menu offerings.  Built in 1803 as a log cabin tavern, The Golden Lamb is Ohio’s oldest restaurant.  AAA inspectors made special mention of ‘Sister Lizzie’s Shaker’ sugar pie with caramel sauce, a reminder of the area’s former Shaker settlement.

Craft beer & Food festival will help feed people in need

DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Whole Foods Market Mason has partnered with Shared Harvest and the Mason Food Pantry to have a first of it's kind event in the northern suburbs of Cincinnati. 

On Saturday, May 18 at the Whole Foods Deerfield Towne Center location on Mason-Montgomery Road a Craft Beer & Food Festival will take place from 3:00pm to 9:00pm. 

All the proceeds from this event will help to feed those in need in our local area.

MASON, OH (FOX19) - The entrance sign to the new Reds Hall of Fame Grill was mounted on Monday at Kings Island.

The Reds Hall of Fame Grille will be a full-service, air-conditioned Cincinnati Reds-themed restaurant and features authentic Reds memorabilia, framed jerseys and photos, and other bits of team history dating back to the 1800’s.  Menu items include fresh-grilled burgers and chicken wings, Montgomery Inn pulled pork, baby back ribs, Saratoga chips, wraps, appetizers, salads, homemade desserts, soft drinks, draft beer and wine.

Miranda's Ice Cream located on Main Street will re-open on Friday, April 5 at 3pm.

Miranda's features a full lunch and dinner menu, as well as the very best custom blended hand dipped and soft serve ice cream, shakes, cones, sundaes, parfaits, kids specialties, and more.

DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A new tenant is moving into the Deerfield Towne Center.

The Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Taven will move into the space being vacated by The Polo Grille. The doors at the Polo Grille close for good on March 30.

“We are very excited to be adding our second location in the Cincinnati market as an additional destination for Rusty Bucket guests,” said Gary Callicoat, president and founder of Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern. “Mason has the perfect mix of shopping and entertainment options that will ensure our guests can enjoy a total dining experience or grab a quick meal with family and friends within or near their neighborhood.” The first Cincinnati Rusty Bucket location opened in 2008 at Rookwood Pavilion on Madison Road and just celebrated its five-year anniversary in this location.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) All local Jersey Mike’s restaurants will donate 100 percent of Wednesday's sales to help the Y help those who need it most in our community. 

“The money raised will provide scholarships to help kids learn how to swim, provide them with a healthy lunch, and help families achieve their health and wellness goals,” said YMCA of Greater Cincinnati President and Chief Executive Officer Sandy Walker.

The Month of Giving campaign in 2012 raised nearly $858,000 for 74 different charities nationwide.  “I would like to extend a personal invitation to come in and enjoy a Jersey Mike’s sub during our Month of Giving in support of your local YMCA,” said Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike’s founder and CEO.  “The opportunities to give are all around us, so we hope this March, you will join us to make a difference in someone’s life.”
