MASON, OH (FOX19) - Over 75 percent of Mars Hill Academy’s ninth-grade students who took the 2013 ACL/NJCL National Greek Exam received awards. According to The American Classical League (ACL), approximately 55% of students taking the exam in the United States, Canada, Taiwan, Turkey and the United Kingdom receive awards.
Mars Hill students who received ribbons are: Tristan Admiraal of Mason (Blue), Nathan Davis of Mason (Blue), Levi Giese of West Chester (Red), Lauren Godfrey of Maineville (Green), Anna Jones of Cincinnati (Blue), Hudson Kubasek of Loveland (Green) and Nathan Williams of Cincinnati (Green).
“This is the first year Mars Hill has participated in the National Greek Exam,” said Dr. Christopher Jero, MHA’s Greek teacher. “Two of our students missed only one question, and the class as a whole beat the international average. Thanks to a strong Latin foundation, students can learn a lot of Greek in a short time.”
